Kodomonohi 2010
Children's Day In celebration of Children's Day in Japan, Hiroko sensei and Yasuko sensei entertained all in attendance with mochi treats, holiday music, decorative koi flags and kabuto to name just a few. Children and adults were invited to participate in making their own snacks as well as constructing colorful origami. Please enjoy the pictures from this wonderful afternoon of fun.
Easter Egg Taikai 2010 EJ students enjoyed Maria sensei's Easter egg dying taikai on 4/10 - they each got a chance to decorate three eggs as well as design Easter baskets. Please enjoy the photos!

Peter Rabbit visited EJ Learning early this year and brought with him some wonderful treats and dyes for decorating eggs. All in attendence learned much about this very special holiday while enjoying traditional food as prepared by Marie sensei. What delicious dishes will she choose for the next event??

A wonderful group gathered on 11/20 to take part in Marie Sensei's Thanksgiving dinner class. They were treated to a traditional dinner including mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, corn bread, desserts and -- most importantly -- a tender and delicious Thanksgiving turkey! Participants left with smiles, full stomachs, and recipes courtesy of Marie Sensei. Please enjoy the pictures and we hope to see you at our next gathering!

We were thrilled to see have so many students visit EJ Learning this Halloween! Maria Sensei's cupcake stand was quite popular as Ninjas, Darth Vader, dinosaurs, bees and many other wonderfully-costumed kids and adults created some very scary looking designs.
